Since the beginning of this year, Huangyan District’s electric vehicle sector has actively pursued technological innovation, focusing on science and intelligence to foster new productive forces and elevate the industry to higher-end markets.
Recently, the new Huangyan factory of Aima Technology Group Co., Ltd. officially began production. As a key provincial project, the factory spans approximately 245 mu (approximately 16 hectares) with a total investment of around 1 billion RMB (approximately $140 million). It houses eight production lines for two-wheeled electric vehicles, with an expected annual output of 2 million units, generating approximately 3 billion RMB (approximately $420 million) in output value.
In recent years, Huangyan District has also strengthened its strategic planning, introducing a series of policies to support the electric vehicle and auto parts industries. This approach has promoted both quantitative growth and qualitative breakthroughs in the district’s electric vehicle sector.
