With the recent upgrade of Huangyan’s intelligent public bicycle system, 700 new public bicycles have arrived at the warehouse.
Compared to the current models in use, these new bicycles are lighter and more visually appealing. The frames are now made from aluminum alloy instead of iron, and components such as screws are made from stainless steel to enhance rust resistance. The new bicycles also feature electronic locks with Bluetooth positioning, allowing temporary locking and accurate real-time tracking, which helps locate lost bicycles and reduces the loss rate.
Currently, our district has built 304 public bicycle stations, with a total of 14,400 bicycles in operation. The service network spans 110 square kilometers, covering 8 urban streets and 6 rural towns in Huangyan.
