Recently, as temperatures continued to drop, the maple leaves in Jiufeng Scenic Area gradually turned red, marking the peak of the best viewing season and attracting many locals and tourists to stop and capture the moment.
It is reported that the maples in Jiufeng Scenic Area are mainly Acer palmatum, a beautiful deciduous plant, primarily concentrated around the Red Maple Pavilion. Every early winter, when a gentle breeze blows, the delicate maple leaves sway gracefully in the air. Shades of gold, scarlet, crimson, and brown intertwine and dance together, blending beautifully with the surrounding ancient pavilions and jagged rocks, creating a stunning sight. Locals and tourists alike are eager to take out their cameras and smartphones, wandering through the scenery to snap photos, relishing the small joys of winter, and preserving this natural beauty.
"It's rare to have the opportunity to come out with my mom, and I didn't expect to stumble upon such beautiful scenery. The red color of the maple leaves reminds me of our life—vibrant and full of joy, like the harvest of a fruitful year," said local resident Chen Lihong, who was engrossed in capturing the moment on her phone and posting videos on social media, receiving numerous likes.
In recent years, Jiufeng Scenic Area has gained a reputation and attracted many photography enthusiasts. They come to capture the stunning winter views with their lenses. "I’ve been coming to Jiufeng Scenic Area every year for the past ten years to photograph the maple leaves. Each year, they bring a different feeling and always inspire new ideas for my work. I especially love it," said Pan Xinglai, a member of the China Folklore Photographic Association, when speaking with reporters.
