Huangyan’s Digital Agriculture Factory Listed in Provincial Rankings

Recently, Zhejiang Shuoyou Agricultural Technology Development Co., Ltd.'s citrus virus-free seedling digital agriculture factory has been successfully included in the 2024 Digital Agriculture Factory list.

Located at the Zhejiang Citrus Research Institute, the company focuses on the development of seedling cultivation technologies. With 150 acres of land, it produces more than 50 types of Zhejiang specialty fruit seedlings, including Chinese bayberry, loquat, and citrus. In addition to providing technical services to farmers, the company has also pioneered innovative marketing through the internet, serving as a practice base for Taizhou Rural Revitalization College.

Company head, Mou Wangbin, explained that with high-standard digital facilities, the smart greenhouses precisely regulate temperature and humidity, while irrigation and heating systems ensure optimal growing conditions for the seedlings. Through a sensor network, the water and fertilizer supply for each individual seedling is managed precisely, achieving personalized care.

Thanks to the virus-free cultivation process, the citrus seedlings not only avoid viral diseases but also grow faster and more uniformly, with the plants bearing fruit in the second year after transplantation. Over the past 14 years, Shuoyou Agricultural has expanded from producing only Chinese bayberry seedlings to offering more than 50 types of specialty seedlings. Its annual sales have reached 10 million yuan, with customers across 15 provinces and cities nationwide.
