Children Paint Snakes to Welcome the New Year

Recently, a children's painting event titled "Drawing Snakes to Add Joy and Welcome the New Year" was held at the Qiaotou Wang Village building in Chengjiang Street.

At the event, the children picked up their brushes and, using rich colors and vivid lines, freely expressed their imaginations. They skillfully blended cartoon snake images with various traditional New Year elements. Some of these cartoon snakes were playful and adorable, wearing bright red New Year hats, while others were lively and energetic, surrounded by festive firecracker. The diverse and whimsical snake images showcased the children's unique understanding and anticipation of the Year of the Snake.

Through their paintings, the children also delved deeper into the cultural significance of the Year of the Snake, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of traditional Chinese culture, allowing ancient traditions to come to life through the innocence of their brushstrokes.
