On April 14, construction at the Ocean Sustainable Development Industrial Park in Jiangkou Subdistrict has exceeded 70% completion, with orderly framework construction underway across designated zones as workers efficiently execute tasks.

The China's first "Blue Cycle" mega-factory spans 26.9 acres with a total investment of ?330 million. It integrates four functional zones: intelligent equipment manufacturing, high-value marine plastic processing, marine big data centers, and national operational maintenance hubs.
Equipment installation is slated for late June, with Phase 1 production starting in August. Fully operational, the factory will produce 30,000 tons of marine plastic particles annually, generating ?360 million in output value.
The "Blue Cycle" employs a three-phase model: market-driven waste collection, high-value resource utilization, and international certification. Collaborating with coastal communities, the project has achieved significant environmental, economic, and social impacts, earning UNEP's 2023 Champions of the Earth Award among 2,500 global applicants.
